     Miles H. Daubenspeck was born on October 2, 1871 at Rush County, Indiana. He was the son of Harvey Daubenspeck. Miles H. Daubenspeck married, at age 26, Ada N. Thrasher, age 22, daughter of John P. Thrasher and Rebecca Lou Walker, on Wednesday, November 24, 1897 at Fayette County, Indiana, . Miles H. Daubenspeck died on April 17, 1954 at age 82.

     Nelson Daubenspeck was born in 1816 at Harrison County, Kentucky.¹ He was the son of John Daubenspeck and Mary Jane York.¹ Nelson Daubenspeck died on August 5, 1903 at Marion County, Ohio.¹

     Nelson Cleg Daubenspeck was born on September 15, 1898. He was the son of Nelson Morton Daubenspeck and Sarah Catherine Clegg. Nelson Cleg Daubenspeck lived in 1918 at Cache, Comanche County, Oklahoma.

     Nelson Morton Daubenspeck was born on March 21, 1864 at Indiana. He was the son of Wesley Daubenspeck and Mary Nancy Lakin. Nelson Morton Daubenspeck married Sarah Catherine Clegg about 1897 . Nelson Morton Daubenspeck died on April 1, 1919 at Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma, at age 55.¹

     Pearl Eliza Daubenspeck was born on November 5, 1879 at Mattsville, Hamilton County, Indiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of James Wilkinson Daubenspeck and Phoebe Ellen West. Pearl Eliza Daubenspeck married, at age 17, Merritt A. Hancock, age 22, son of John Hancock and Susan Morris, on Saturday, March 13, 1897 at Hamilton County, Indiana, .³ Pearl Eliza Daubenspeck died on December 21, 1951 at Indianapolis, Indiana, at age 72.¹ She was buried on December 24, 1951 at Farley Cemetery, Hamilton County, Indiana.¹

     Phillip Daubenspeck was born in 1757 at Heidleberg Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johan Jacob Daubenspeck and Juliana.¹ Phillip Daubenspeck began military service between 1778 and 1783 at Northampton County, Pennsylvania, as a Ranger with Roups Battallion. He married Barbara Smelser, daughter of Peter Smelser and Barbara Garnhart, on December 18, 1792 at Bourbon County, Kentucky, two other possible dates being November 12 and November 27, 1792.² Phillip Daubenspeck married Hannah Kenney on Friday, January 13, 1815 at Harrison County, Kentucky, . Phillip Daubenspeck died on June 14, 1820 at Harrison County, Kentucky, Possibly murdered by his wife.

Notes:

There is no record of him signing the Oath of Allegiance during the American Revolution but records show that he did fight in the Revolutionary War and the Indian Wars.
Philip Daubenspeck had his Revolutionary war service primarily with Roups Battalion. He served as a ranger from 1778 to 1783. He served according to the PA Archives in 1782 as a substitute for different people that lived in Northampton Cty. On page 497, it says he subsitituted for Nicholas Bachman from April 18, 1782 - May 27, 1782, for a total of 61 days. Page 501 states that he substituted from Michell Wertman from July 27, 1787 -September 23, 1787. Page 597 says he substituted from Nicholas Baeman on November 12, 1781. For the record of these services which are too many to mention here at this time you can go to the PA Archives, series 3, volume 23, 5 series, 8 volume Page 196, series 5, volume 8, Page 510, series 5, vol 8, p 480.¹

     Polly Daubenspeck was born in 1800. She was the daughter of Phillip Daubenspeck and Barbara Smelser. Polly Daubenspeck died on August 9, 1838 at Rush County, Indiana.¹ She was buried after August 9, 1838 at Smelzer graveyard - Union Township, Rush County, Indiana.¹

     Ronald Fremont Daubenspeck is the son of Harold Fremont Daubenspeck and Marjory Foster.

     Roy Daubenspeck was born on November 13, 1887 at Carmel County, Indiana. He was the son of James Wilkinson Daubenspeck and Phoebe Ellen West. Roy Daubenspeck married, at age 19, Rachel Etta Morris, age 20 on Sunday, July 21, 1907 at Gladstone, Stark County, North Dakota, . Roy Daubenspeck died on July 24, 1951 at Philomath, Benton County, Oregon, at age 63.

     Ruth Daubenspeck was born in 1856 at Hamilton County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Wesley Daubenspeck and Mary Nancy Lakin.

     Samantha Jane Daubenspeck was born on May 15, 1842. She was the daughter of Wesley Daubenspeck and Mary Nancy Lakin. Samantha Jane Daubenspeck married, at age 21, John Henry Hall, age 36 on Tuesday, April 12, 1864 at Hancock County, Indiana, . Samantha Jane Daubenspeck died on January 5, 1903 at Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, at age 60.

     Sarah Daubenspeck was born in 1832 at Indiana. She was the daughter of Jacob Daubenspeck and Elizabeth Mock.

     Sarah E. Daubenspeck was born in 1853. She was the daughter of Wesley Daubenspeck and Mary Nancy Lakin.

     Sarah Emeline Daubenspeck was born on October 23, 1854 at Miami County, Indiana.^1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of John Daubenspeck and Julia Anne Sutcliffe. Sarah Emeline Daubenspeck married, at age 22, William Endsley, age 34, son of Elihu Endsley and Sidney Parsons, on Monday, December 25, 1876 at Miami County, Indiana, .^1,5,6 Sarah Emeline Daubenspeck died on June 19, 1902 at Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri, at age 47.^7,4 She was buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri.⁷

     Susan Catharine Daubenspeck was born on April 11, 1852 at Hamilton County, Indiana. She was the daughter of John Daubenspeck and Julia Anne Sutcliffe. Susan Catharine Daubenspeck married, at age 22, Henry Duck, age 24 on Tuesday, December 29, 1874 at Peru, Miami County, Indiana, .¹ Susan Catharine Daubenspeck died on February 11, 1933 at Peru, Miami County, Indiana, at age 80.^2,3 She was buried on February 14, 1933 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru, Miami County, Indiana.²
