     Amadis Hahn was born about 1848.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Hahn and Anna Elizabeth Cooper. Amadis Hahn died between 1850 and 1860 at Indiana.¹ She appears in the 1850 census but nowhere else.

     Amanda A. Hahn was born about 1877.¹ She was the daughter of William Hahn and Sarah Fegley.¹

     Amanda Dorothy Hahn is the daughter of David Keith Hahn and Beverly Sue Mcknew.

     Anna Elizabeth Hahn was born in August, 1852 at Butler Twp, Miami County, Indiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of Benjamin Hahn and Anna Elizabeth Cooper. Anna Elizabeth Hahn was graduated in 1881 at Doane College, Crete, Saline County, Nebraska.³ She worked before 1908 as a teacher, author and high school principal.⁴ She died on January 29, 1908 at Batangas Province, Luzon, The Philippines, at age 55.^{4,5,6,1,7,8,9,10} She was buried about March 27, 1908 at Peoria Cemetery, Miami County, Indiana; Her remains were shipped from Batangas and trasported by rail to Miami County, Indiana, stopping first at Crete, Nebraska for a memorial service.¹¹

She was murdered by native inhabitants of Batangas. Two Filipinos, Esuebio Burias and Lucio Aldea were convicted of the crime and were executed by hanging at Bilibid Prison in Manila on May 14,1909. A third accomplice was sentenced to fourteen years in prison. The motive was robbery.^12,13,14
She was the author of several short stories, poems and at least one novel.^15,16,17
Anna Hahn was a member of the first group of "Thomasites" selected on July 15, 1901, to travel to The Philippines (aboard the ship "Thomas") to teach the native population.^18,19 Her sister Martha Hahn Jackson compiled a 98 page memorial book, published in 1910.²⁰

     Anna Elizabeth Hahn was born on May 23, 1893 at Miami County, Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of James Ira Hahn and Nancy Jane Long. Anna Elizabeth Hahn married, at age 37, Clyde Everett Means, age 37, son of Frank Means and Sarah Hunter, on Sunday, June 1, 1930 at Allen County, Indiana, .¹ Anna Elizabeth Hahn died on April 17, 1970 at Marion, Grant County, Indiana, at age 76.²

Anna E. Means, 76, R. R. 5, Peru, died at Marion General Hospital Friday after having been ill the past week from a heart attack.

Born in Butler Twp., Miami County, on May 23, 1893, she was the daughter of James I. and Mary Long Hahn.

She was a lifetime resident of the Amboy community, Her marriage in 1930 was to Clyde E. Means, who died in 1953.

Surviving is one son, Clyde Franklin Means, R. R. 1, Amboy; two brothers, B. F. Hahn, R. R. 5, Peru, and Bert Hahn, Harrisburg, Pa; one sister, Mrs. Lyman Smith, R. R. 5, Wabash, and one grandchild.

Mrs. Means was a member of the Santa Fe United Methodist Church, the Butler Twp. HDC club, and the Ruth Chapter of the Eastern Star, Peru.

Funeral services will be in the Santa Fe Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Monday, with burial in Santa Fe Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Laird and Son Funeral Home, Amboy, after 1 p.m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the church one hour preceding the services.²

     Annabell Hahn is the daughter of Harvey Jacob Hahn and Edna W. Finster.

     Barbara Irene Hahn is the daughter of Donald Keith Hahn and Dorothy Irene Osborne.

Benjamin Hahn married Anna Elizabeth Cooper about 1837 at Maryland .² Benjamin Hahn died on September 11, 1899 at Crete, Saline County, Nebraska, at age 82.^1,3 He was buried after September 11, 1899 at Peoria Cemetery - Butler Township, Miami County, Indiana.¹

     Benjamin F. Hahn was born on November 9, 1887 at Peoria, Miami County, Indiana.¹ He was the son of James Ira Hahn and Nancy Jane Long. Benjamin F. Hahn married, at age 24, Helen Audrey Slaughter, age 21, daughter of Samuel H. Slaughter and Alice Lee, on Wednesday, September 25, 1912 at Miami County, Indiana, .¹ Benjamin F. Hahn died on December 15, 1970 at Marion, Grant County, Indiana, at age 83.² He was buried on December 17, 1970 at Park Lawn IOOF Cemetery - Jackson Township, Miami County, Indiana.²

     Benjamin Franklin Hahn was born in March, 1857 at Indiana.^1,2,3 He was the son of Benjamin Hahn and Anna Elizabeth Cooper. Benjamin Franklin Hahn married, at age 47, Mariam Henderson, age 37, daughter of Samuel A. Henderson and Hannah Engle, on Wednesday, February 1, 1905 at Lancaster County, Nebraska, .⁴ Benjamin Franklin Hahn died on February 3, 1927 at San Diego, California, at age 69.⁵ He was buried after February 3, 1927 at Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego, California.⁶

     Bertran Hahn was born on January 16, 1890 at Miami County, Indiana.¹ He was the son of James Ira Hahn and Nancy Jane Long. Bertran Hahn married, at age 47, Teresa Elizabeth Rueppel, age 33 on Saturday, September 18, 1937 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, .¹ Bertran Hahn lived in 1942 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.² He died in 1971 at Pennsylvania.³

     Beryl Bernice Hahn was born in April, 1893 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Perry Hahn and Anna Catherine Jacquin. Beryl Bernice Hahn married, at age 23, David William Day, age 29 on Thursday, July 20, 1916 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, .² Beryl Bernice Hahn died on January 11, 1968 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, at age 74.³

     Bettilue Hahn was born on July 19, 1924 at Miami County, Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Harvey Jacob Hahn and Edna W. Finster. Bettilue Hahn married, at age 22, Donald Hugh Flagg, age 24 on Friday, November 15, 1946 at Peru, Miami County, Indiana, .¹ Bettilue Hahn died on March 25, 2012 at Miami County, Indiana, at age 87.²

     Betty Joan Hahn is the daughter of Tressie Sylvin Hahn and Mae Gertrude Curry.

     Billie Gwen Hahn was born on May 16, 1928 at Miami County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Tressie Sylvin Hahn and Mae Gertrude Curry. Billie Gwen Hahn died on November 15, 2013 at Community Howard Regional Health Systems, Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, at age 85 after being admitted for a heart attack.^1,2 She was buried on November 19, 2013 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown, Howard County, Indiana.^1,2

     Caroline Hahn was born in October, 1843 at Ohio. She was the daughter of Henry Hahn and Matilda Troxel. Caroline Hahn married, at age 23, Augustus Anacker on Thursday, December 6, 1866 at Miami County, Indiana, . Caroline Hahn lived in 1900 at Anderson, Clark County, Illinois. She lived in 1922 at Marshall, Clark County, Illinois. She died on September 5, 1922 at Marshall, Clark County, Illinois, at age 78. She was buried on September 7, 1922 at Marshall Cemetery, Marshall, Clark County, Illinois.

     Catherine Hahn was born on April 9, 1841 at Convoy, Van Wert County, Ohio.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Henry Hahn and Matilda Troxel. Catherine Hahn married, at age 21, Isaac H. Robinson on Saturday, February 7, 1863 at Miami County, Indiana, .⁴ Catherine Hahn died on November 22, 1930 at Wayne Twp., Jay County, Indiana, at age 89.¹ She was buried on November 23, 1930 at Pennville Cemetery, Pennville, Jay County, Inidana.¹

     Charles Perry Hahn was born on April 14, 1859 at Miami County, Indiana.^1,2 He was the son of Benjamin Hahn and Anna Elizabeth Cooper. Charles Perry Hahn married, at age 29, Anna Catherine Jacquin, age 28, daughter of Joseph Jacquin and Theresa Bride, on Thursday, September 13, 1888 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, .³ Charles Perry Hahn died on December 13, 1940 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, at age 81.² He was buried after December 13, 1940 at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.²

     Christopher David Hahn is the son of David Keith Hahn and Beverly Sue Mcknew.

     Clena Hahn was born on December 20, 1889 at Miami County, Indiana. He was the son of Henry Hahn and Rebecca Jane Hartleroad. Clena Hahn worked after 1910 as a barber. He married Viola Endsley, daughter of William Endsley and Sarah Emeline Daubenspeck, on August 2, 1916 at Miami County, Indiana.^1,2 Clena Hahn died on June 9, 1934 at Ontario, California, at age 44 of Tuberculosis. He was buried at Bellview Cemetery, Ontario, California.

     Cora Belle Hahn was born on October 3, 1882 at Miami County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Henry Hahn and Rebecca Jane Hartleroad. Cora Belle Hahn married, at age 19, John Dee Wilson, age 17, son of John Wesley Wilson and Mary F. King, on Saturday, July 19, 1902 at Miami County, Indiana, . Cora Belle Hahn and John Dee Wilson were divorced about 1903 at Miami County, Indiana. Cora Belle Hahn married, at age 23, Franklin Barnhart, age 28, son of William Barnhart and Sarah Catherine Draper, on Saturday, October 28, 1905 at Miami County, Indiana, who subsequently died on November 27, 1913 in Miami County, Indiana of an unknown cause . Cora Belle Hahn married, at age 31, Silas H. Mast, age 24 on Saturday, July 11, 1914 at Miami County, Indiana, .^2,3 Cora Belle Hahn and Silas H. Mast were divorced about 1926 at Fort Wayne, Indiana. Cora Belle Hahn died on February 23, 1962 at Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at age 79.^4,5 She was buried on February 26, 1962 at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.⁴

     Daryl Eugene Hahn was born on June 29, 1921 at North Grove, Miami County, Indiana. He was the son of Clena Hahn and Viola Endsley. Daryl Eugene Hahn began military service between 1942 and 1945 in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre, serving in Navy squadron VPB-151. His job was Plane captain (MM1C), and he flew in Lockheed PV-1 Venturas. He flew missions out of Tinian, Saipan and Iwo Jima. Aboard the aircraft he was the plane's tunnel gunner. He was on Iwo Jima from D+7. He was awarded Distinguished Flying Cross, an Air Medal and a Pacific Theatre Medal. He worked between 1946 and 1977 for the U.S. Weather Bureau / Service, first as a meteorologist and later as the area electronics coordinator and supervisor for the Southwest region in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona. He died on January 14, 2013 at Tempe, Arizona, at age 91.

Daryl grew up in a house that "had no running water, no gas or electricity, no bathroom, and of course no telephone. We had a water well outside the house. The water was pumped by hand. The toilet was a "two-holer" on the opposite side of the house. We used kerosene lamps, or gas, for light at night. Cooking was done on a cast iron kitchen stove which was fueled by coal or wood. In the living room was a big pot-bellied iron stove for heat in the winter. Every family in town enjoyed the same convenience as we did. .."¹

     David Hahn was born in June, 1840 at Ohio. He was the son of Henry Hahn and Matilda Troxel. David Hahn died on July 29, 1916 at Miami County, Indiana, at age 76.¹ He was buried about July 30, 1916 at Peoria Cemetery - Butler Township, Miami County, Indiana.

David is listed in the 1880 Census with a checkmark in the column "Maimed, crippled, bedridden or otherwise disabled." He was described as being a cripple by his father Henry in 2018.²
