Adam Grosky and Caroline Grosky immigrated in 1881 to USA from Germany.¹ Adam Grosky married, at age 23, Bertha Hoffman, age 22 on Tuesday, April 27, 1886 at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, .^2,1 Adam Grosky lived in 1900 at 366 West North Street, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. He worked after 1900 as a Molder (iron) - the company made piano harps.¹ He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He died on February 22, 1936 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 73 of a heart attack. He was buried on February 25, 1936 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.


ADAM GROSKY DROPS DEAD AT HIS HOME

W. North St. Resident had Been Ill Two Years

Adam Grosky, 73, of 808 W. North st., dropped dead Saturday, about 4 p. m., at. his residence. He had been in ill health for the last two years.
Born in Germany, Mr. Grosky came to this country about 52 years ago and spent two years in Toledo before coming to Springfield. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of this city and of the Martin Luther Society of that church.
Besides his wife, Bertha, he is survived by three sons, George, of Springfield; and Edward and John, of Dayton;
four daughters, Mrs. Anna Keller, Mrs. Louise Basler Mrs. Emma Stout and Bertha Grosky, all of Springfield; and three grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Holl Funeral Home, but will be returned to the residence of the daughter, Mrs, Keller, at 61 W. North St., Sunday evening. Friends are asked to omit flowers.³

     Anna K. Grosky was born on May 14, 1888 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Adam Grosky and Bertha Hoffman. Anna K. Grosky died in November, 1966 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 78.

     Bertha J. Grosky was born on January 17, 1904 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Adam Grosky and Bertha Hoffman. Bertha J. Grosky worked between 1922 and 1972 as a bank clerk at the Huntington Bank. She worked between 1972 and 1983 as a bank clerk at BancOhio. She died on July 18, 1983 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 79. She was buried on July 21, 1983 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.

     Caroline Grosky was born on January 6, 1859 at Germany. She was the daughter of John Goralski and Anna Wiltzen. Caroline Grosky and Adam Grosky immigrated in 1881 to USA from Germany.¹ Caroline Grosky married, at age 23, Frederick LeBuda, age 29, son of Gottlieb Libuda and Maria Kikul, on Saturday, August 26, 1882 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, .^2,3 As of 1920, Caroline Grosky lived at 3364 Wilson Place, Toledo, Ohio. She died on April 3, 1932 at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, at age 73 of Apoplexy (stroke.) She was buried on April 6, 1932 at Forest Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.

     Edward Fred Grosky married Lucille Doughman . Edward Fred Grosky was born on May 3, 1898 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Adam Grosky and Bertha Hoffman. Edward Fred Grosky worked in 1917 as a printer for the Dayton Journal at Dayton, Ohio.¹ He died on December 22, 1966 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 68.

     Emma E. Grosky was born in February, 1895 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Adam Grosky and Bertha Hoffman. Emma E. Grosky died in October, 1983 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 88.

     George A. Grosky was born on April 7, 1887 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Adam Grosky and Bertha Hoffman. George A. Grosky worked in 1917 as a bartender at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.¹ He worked before 1954 at the Crowell-Collier Publishing Co. at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. He died on February 14, 1954 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 66. He was buried on February 17, 1954 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.

Delilah Margaret Haar died on July 4, 1959 at San Diego, California, at age 84.
