He was the son of Frederick Jacob Vogler and Marie Emma LeBuda.¹ Frederick Henry Vogler was baptized on April 28, 1912 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio; No sponsers listed in records. He was confirmed on April 5, 1925 at St. Paul's Lutheran, Toledo, Ohio. He married, at age 22, Gertrude Grant, age 18, daughter of Charles S. Grant, in June, 1934 at Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, . Frederick Henry Vogler and Gertrude Grant were divorced before 1940 at Riverside, California. Frederick Henry Vogler married Martha Alma Stenson, daughter of Joseph Oliver Cochran and Martha Alma Latham, about 1945 . Frederick Henry Vogler worked after 1945 as an Optical Engineer for General Dynamics Corp. He died on March 19, 1993 at Oroville, California, at age 81. He was Cremated about March 21, 1993.

     Frederick Jacob Vogler was born on November 5, 1884 at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.³ He was the son of Henry Joseph Vogler and Magdalena Wilhelmine Boblenz.^1,2 Frederick Jacob Vogler was confirmed on May 26, 1899 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio.⁴ He worked in 1900 as as an Elevator Boy at Toledo, Ohio.⁵ He lived in 1900 at 1119 W. Washington Street, Toledo, Ohio, as a boarder with the Benhoff family.⁵ He worked in 1902 as a clerk at the International Motor Car Company at Toledo, Ohio.⁶ He worked between 1903 and 1919 as the owner of West End Pattern Works - a pattermaking company at Lucas County, Ohio.⁷ He married, at age 26, Marie Emma LeBuda, age 21, daughter of Frederick LeBuda and Caroline Grosky, on Thursday, June 1, 1911 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.³ Frederick Jacob Vogler worked between 1920 and 1924 as a Pattern Making teacher in the Industrial Arts Departments at Woodward Vocational Tech and Macomber Vocational Tech at Toledo, Ohio.¹ He worked between 1924 and 1942 as an Industrial Arts teacher at Libbey High School at Toledo, Ohio. He died on May 16, 1958 at San Diego, California, at age 73.¹ He was buried at Cypress View Mausoleum, San Diego, California.

     Henry Joseph Vogler was born on June 11, 1857 at Charleston, Virginia; (became West Virginia in 1863.)^1,2 He was adopted after June 11, 1857. He worked between 1876 and 1903 as a broommaker. He and Magdalena Wilhelmine Boblenz obtained a marriage license on April 28, 1881.³ Henry Joseph Vogler married, at age 23, Magdalena Wilhelmine Boblenz, age 19, daughter of Adolphus Christoph Boblenz and Magdalena Mochel, on Thursday, April 28, 1881 at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, .⁴ Henry Vogler appears in the Church records from St. Paul's Lutheran, Toledo, OH. He is listed in the Communion Guest book for September, 1886. This may have been about the time he moved from Columbus to Toledo. According to his daughter Anna K. Vogler, Henry was a church organist. Henry Joseph Vogler worked between 1889 and 1902 as a Foreman - Ohio Broom and Supply Co. - Toledo.⁵ He and Magdalena Wilhelmine Boblenz were divorced between 1898 and 1900 at Toledo, Ohio. Henry Joseph Vogler married, at age 42, Harriet Harms, age 28 on Monday, May 28, 1900 at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, .^3,6 Henry Joseph Vogler died on July 27, 1903 at Toledo, Ohio, at age 46 having commited suicide by taking Paris Green.^7,8

He was the son of Frederick Jacob Vogler and Marie Emma LeBuda.¹ Richard William Vogler was confirmed on March 29, 1929 at St. Paul's Lutheran, Toledo, Ohio. He began military service between 1941 and 1945 in th U.S. Army, serving in Alaska. He worked after 1945 as a chemical engineer. He married Anna Mary Elizabeth Moranville, daughter of Augustine Jerome Moranville and Delilah Margaret Haar, before February 7, 1946 at St. Louis, Missouri, .² Richard William Vogler died on February 2, 2010 at La Mesa, California, at age 94.

     Robert Vogler was born on December 15, 1934 at Riverside, California. He was the son of Frederick Henry Vogler and Gertrude Grant. Robert Vogler was educated between 1952 and 1956 at The United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.¹ He began military service in 1956 after graduating from West Point. His rank was 1st Lt. He died on May 6, 1959 at MacDill AFB, Florida, at age 24 in a B-47 crash. He was buried on May 9, 1959 at West Point, New York.¹

He was raised by Gertrude Grant and her second husband after she and Fred Vogler divorced. Robert then went by the Wetzel surname.

     Robert Vogler is the son of Frederick Valentine Vogler and Nenfa Robles Ramirez.

     Robert Edward Vogler was born on June 24, 1917 at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. He was the son of Frederick Jacob Vogler and Marie Emma LeBuda.¹ Robert Edward Vogler was confirmed on March 20, 1932 at St. Paul's Lutheran, Toledo, Ohio. He married, at age 19, Adeline Lucille Hawley, age 18 on Saturday, May 29, 1937 . Robert Edward Vogler began military service between 1942 and 1945 in the U.S. Army. He was sent to New Guinea. He worked after 1945 as an architect. He died on August 19, 1965 at Los Angeles, California, at age 48 of a heart attack after saving a runaway car. He was buried after August 19, 1965 at Bellevue Cemetery, Ontario, California.

     Robert William Vogler is the son of Edward Darrell Vogler and Susan Diane Mozet.

     Amanda Vore was born on June 6, 1848 at Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Vore and Martha Hall. Amanda Vore married Fred Bucher, son of Joseph Bucher and Catherine Waymeier, in 1872 at Indiana .² Amanda Vore died on December 6, 1923 at Miami County, Indiana, at age 75.¹

     Peter Vore was born at Kentucky.^1,2 He married Martha Hall before June 6, 1848 .

     Violet Wade was born in 1790 at Virginia.¹ She married Elisha Hammer, son of Abraham Hammer and Rachel Meeting, in 1821 at Warren County, Tennessee, . Violet Wade died in 1860 at Warren County, Tennessee.

     Joan Wadham married Thomas Malet . Joan Wadham was born. She was the daughter of William Wadham and Margaret Chiseldon.¹

     William Wadham married Margaret Chiseldon at Devonshire, England, .² William Wadham was born about 1386 at Merrifield, Somerset, England.^3,2 He was buried in 1452 at St. Mary's Church, Ilminster, Somerset, England. He died in 1452.^3,2

     Abraham P. Waisner was born on April 23, 1839 at Indiana.¹ He married, at age 29, Mary J. Ramsey, age 34, daughter of Samuel Ramsey and Elizabeth Hahn, on Friday, December 25, 1868 . Abraham P. Waisner died on June 14, 1905 at Grant County, Indiana, at age 66.¹

     Adaline Waisner was born on January 24, 1851 at Washington County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Solomon Waisner and Mary Sally Elvira Bowman. Adaline Waisner died on July 7, 1925 at Franklin Township, Washington County, Indiana, at age 74.

     Alta Mary Waisner was born on December 16, 1893 at Indiana. She was the daughter of David D. Waisner and Philena Casey. Alta Mary Waisner married, at age 16, Rufus Lacy Foust, age 23 on Saturday, September 17, 1910 at Miami County, Indiana, .

     Bernadine B. Waisner was born on December 18, 1907 at Miami County, Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Ora Cleveland Waisner and Edna H. Hahn. Bernadine B. Waisner died on October 19, 1985 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at age 77.¹ She was buried after October 24, 1985 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, Cass County, Indiana. She never married.¹

     Bertha Mae Waisner was born on March 13, 1886 at Indiana. She was the daughter of David D. Waisner and Philena Casey. Bertha Mae Waisner married, at age 29, Franklin John Johnson on Wednesday, September 29, 1915 at Miami County, Indiana, .

     Dale Loren Waisner was born on August 24, 1933.¹ He was the son of George Earl Waisner and Vernice Edna Anderson. Dale Loren Waisner married, at age 19, Patricia Bennett on Sunday, March 8, 1953 .² Dale Loren Waisner died on January 14, 1996 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at age 62.^3,4

     David D. Waisner was born on December 30, 1848 at Washington County, Indiana.^1,2 He was the son of Solomon Waisner and Mary Sally Elvira Bowman. David D. Waisner married, at age 35, Philena Casey, age 26, daughter of William Henry Casey and Mary Etta Goss, on Thursday, March 6, 1884 at Washington County, Indiana, .² David D. Waisner worked in 1900 as a livestock buyer at Miami County, Indiana.² He died on April 1, 1912 at Jackson Township, Amboy, Miami County, Indiana, at age 63.¹ He was buried on April 3, 1912 at Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy, Miami County, Indiana.¹

DAVID D. WAISNER was the seventh child of Solomon and Elvira Waisner. He was born in
Washington County, Indiana on December 30, 1848, and departed this life at his late home in
Amboy, Indiana on April 1, 1912 at the age of sixty-three years and one day.
His early years were spent in Washington, County, Indiana. On March 6, 1884, he united with
Philena Casey in marriage and they soon afterward moved to Waupecong then to McGrawsville,
Indiana, then later settling in Amboy, Indiana.
To this union were born eight children. There were three sons and five daughters, which one of the
sons were twins to a sister. There names were Flossie and Rossie Ansen. Flossie died at birth on
February 10, 1899. Rossie died eight months later on October 10, 1900, which he preceded him to
"The Land of the Blest".
He was a believer in the religion of Jesus Christ, but had never personally embraced it. During his
last sickness he deeply felt the need of a savior many times since giving testimony on March 17,
1912, he died triumphantly in the faith. On Tuesday following his conversion, he requested
membership in the Friends Church. He bore his affliction with great patience and Christian
fortitude. While this hour of deepest shadow is passing over the bereaved one has entered the
land of where there is no pain.
David D. left his wife Philena and five children and five grandchildren. Also three brothers and five
sisters, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
The funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at the Friends Church in Amboy, Indiana.
Reverend R.A. Napier was in charge of the services, and interment was made in the I.O.O.F.
Cemetery, which now is called "Park Lawn Cemetery". It is East of Amboy, Indiana.

     Deborah Waisner is the daughter of Dale Loren Waisner and Patricia Bennett.

     Elmer William Waisner was born on November 25, 1889 at Indiana. He was the son of David D. Waisner and Philena Casey. Elmer William Waisner died on October 5, 1905 at Jackson Township, Amboy, Miami County, Indiana, at age 15 of Typhoid Fever. He was buried about October 6, 1905 at Park Lawn Cemetery (I.O.O.F. Cemetey), Amboy, Miami County, Indiana.


ELMER WILLIAM WAISNER, son of David and Philena Waisner, was born November 25, 1889
and died October 5, 1905 at the age of fifteen years and ten months and twenty-one days. He died
at his home at Amboy, Indiana. He was confined to his bed with a most malignant type of typhoid
fever for four weeks and at times suffered intently but bore it with marked patience and fortitude,
and though called upon to give up life in the very bloom of youth, he was reconciled to go, telling his
nurse a few days before his death he had a glimpse of heaven and singing some of his favorite
hymns, "At the Cross", "Jesus Lover of My Soul", "I'm Coming Home". The latter he sang on the
morning of his death.
He was very much devoted to his home and especially thoughtful to his Mother and sisters, who
together with his father and brothers and a host of friends that will miss sadly his kind attention. The
funeral was conducted by the Reverend Robert Burns, and his schoolmates sang, followed by
interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. (Thought to be prepared by Bertha Mae (Waisner) Johnson.)

     Florence May Waisner was born on June 15, 1860 at Washington County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Solomon Waisner and Mary Sally Elvira Bowman. Florence May Waisner died on April 3, 1942 at Washington County, Indiana, at age 81.
