Kenneth Edwards Hartleroad, 90, Peru, passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 at 6:15 a.m. at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Peru.
Hartleroad, who owned the K. E. Hartleroad Company (Home Furnishing Store), lived on his farm near Denver for 58 years.
He was born Feb. 11, 1914 in Miami County to Fred and Mary (Edwards) Hartleroad.
Hartleroad married Velma I. Ellis on Sept. 26, 1934.
He was a member of the Peru Church of the Brethren, and a long time member of the Peru Lions Club. At one time he traveled to Japan to attend the Lions Club International convention, and he also enjoyed oil painting and gardening.
Hartleroad is survived by son, Larry Hartleroad, Peru; daughter, Sandra Conklin and husband Ronald, Peru; four grandchildren, Tiffany Pope, Laura Hartleroad, Daniel Hartleroad, and Gean-Paul Hartleroad; two brothers, Robert Hartleroad, Peru, and John Hartleroad, Logansport, and one sister, Opal Mills, Frankfort; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Peru Church of the Brethren Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Marvin Schwartz officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Peru Church of the Brethren.

Miriam Moules, of Sylvania, OH, died Tuesday, December 2, 2004, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, at the age of 89. She was born in Toledo to Walter and Helen Zuleger on December 26, 1914.
Her parents and husband, William Moules preceded her in death. Surviving is her sister, Naomi (Roy) Allemeier of Bloomfield Hills, MI; nieces and nephews and special friends, Judy and David Bagrowski.

Center, Greentown.
He was born June 2, 1916 in Miami County to Frank R. and Ethel Overman Hahn. He married Miriam
"Betty" Haines on February 21, 1941 at Santa Fe United Methodist Church, and she survives.
Hahn was a longtime leader in Butler Township 4-H Club and a longtime member of the Butler Township
Advisory Board. He was a retired Miami County farmer and a 1934 Butler Township High School
graduate. He was also a member of Santa Fe United Methodist Church.
Survivors other than his wife include two sons, Frank Robert Hahn, Evansville, and Boyd Hahn and wife
Cathy, Peru; one daughter, Jo Ann Hahn, Carefree, Ariz; and three grandchildren, Robert N. Hahn, Peru,
Karen Hahn, Bloomington, and Daniel Robert Merker, Overland Park, Kan. He was preceded in death by
his parents; two brothers, Verl Hahn and Kenneth Hahn; and two sisters, Verna Blackman and Lois Stites.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home, Amboy, with Rev. Thomas Daugherty
officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Santa Fe United Methodist Church, Miami County 4-H
Scholarship Fund or to Bona Vista of Peru.
A testament to the respect in which he was held by his family is the fact that the first born son in each
family was named after Robert.

Miriam I. 'Betty' Hahn, 88, Peru, passed away at 9:34 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2005 at Century Villa
Health Care Center, Greentown.
She was born on July 7, 1917 in Amboy to Harvey and Mary (Pearson) Haines, and married Robert G.
Hahn at the Santa Fe United Methodist Church on February 21, 1941. He preceded his wife in death on
June 6, 2005.
Hahn was a 1934 graduate of Amboy High School and was a member of the Santa Fe United Methodist
Church, and Santa Fe United Methodist Women.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Hahn is survived by two sons, Frank Robert Hahn, Evansville, and Boyd Hahn and wife Cathy, Peru; a
daughter, JoAnn Hahn, Carefree, Ariz; three grandchildren, Robert N. Hahn, Peru, Daniel Robert Merker,
Overland Park, Kan., and Karen Hahn, Bloomington; and three sisters, Grace Haines, Marion, Pauline
Flockencier, Marion, and Lucile Hodson, Rossville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John Haines; and two sisters, Dorothy
Corwin and Margaret Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Laird Funeral Home, Amboy, with the Reverend Tom
Daugherty officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m.
on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Santa Fe United Methodist Church or Gateway
Bona Vista in Peru.

Kent L. Hahn 85 of Westfield, passed away Friday, September 30 at St. Vincent Hospital. Kent was born April 7, 1920 in North Grove, IN to the late Tressie & Mae Curry Hahn. He was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran and a 1949 graduate of Purdue University. Kent was an engineer at Allison's Division of General Motors for 32 years, retiring in 1982. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 4 at 11:00 a.m. in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center -Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Rd. (Hwy. 32), where friends may call Monday, October 3 from 4-8 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Sue Fiedler Hahn; sons, Kurt L. (Christine) & Brian K. (Michelle) Hahn; daughter, Kristine S.
