     Richard J. Harford married Jewel Gwendolyn Cox, daughter of Gilbert Harvey Cox and Julia Pearl Endsley, . Richard J. Harford was born on April 20, 1920.¹ He died on April 30, 1999 at Englewood, Sarasota, Florida, at age 79.¹

     Paul Endsley was born on August 19, 1920. He was the son of James Loren Endsley and Augusta C. Becker. Paul Endsley served in the military between 1941 and 1945 as a Private 1st Class in WW2. He died on August 23, 1990 at Peru, Miami County, Indiana, at age 70.

     Vernice Finster was born on November 14, 1920. She was the daughter of Clarence L. Finster and Martha Ellen Hahn. Vernice Finster died on May 12, 2001 at age 80.

      Edward Robert Gramp was also known as "Eddie". He was born on June 23, 1921 at Syracuse, Onondaga, New York.^1,2,3 He was the son of Gerhardt F. Gramp and Mary Nauer.¹ Edward Robert Gramp served in the military beginning August 14, 1942 as a private.² He was graduated after 1945 from Syracuse University. He received a Master's degree from Maxwell's School of Citizenship before 1951. He lived in 1951 at Washington, D.C..⁴ He married, at age 30, Geraldine Marie Miller, age 22, daughter of Claude H. Miller and Catherine M. (?), on Saturday, July 14, 1951 at Mattydale, Onondaga, New York, .⁵ Edward Robert Gramp died in June, 1982.³

     Ada Ruth Taylor married Jess Kenneth Kellerman, son of Joseph N. Kellerman and Ida Gilgenberg, . Thereafter her married name was Kellerman. Ada Ruth Taylor was born on July 12, 1921 at Kansas.^1,2 She was the daughter of Earl Taylor and Edna J. Pinson.¹ Ada Ruth Taylor died on August 2, 1996 at Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 75.²

     Everet J. Anderson was born circa 1922 at Minnesota.¹ He was the son of John Elmer Anderson and Matilda Tait.¹ Everet J. Anderson died after 1930.¹

     Wayne E. Hartleroad was born on June 25, 1922 at Miami County, Indiana. He was the son of Earl George Hartleroad and Erdia O. Billheimer. Wayne E. Hartleroad served in the U.S. Navy between 1941 and 1945 on the U.S.S. Nassau in the Pacific. He married, at age 23, Marjorie Ellen Medborn on Saturday, January 19, 1946 at Cass County, Indiana, . Wayne E. Hartleroad died on November 19, 2005 at Logansport, Cass County, Indiana, at age 83.

Wayne E. Hartleroad, 83, Logansport, went to be with the Lord at 9:25 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Miller's Merry Manor, Logansport. He was born on June 25, 1922 in Miami County to Earl and Erdia (Billheimer) Hartleroad, and marriedMarjorie Ellen Medborn on January 19, 1946 in Cass County.
Hartleroad was the former owner and operator of the local Filter Queen Sweeper and Sales Service. He was an honorary deacon and member of the Blue Ball Christian Church, and had worked with and retired from the Canteen Corporation in 1984. The 1941 graduate of Peru High School served in the United States Navy during World War II on the U.S.S. Nassau in the Pacific.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Ellen K. Hartleroad, Logansport, and Patricia Cain and husband Doug, Logansport; sister, Doris Ellen Hierholzer and husband John, Peru; step-brother, Paul Kesling and wife Anita, Florida; two grandchildren, Eric Cain and wife Anita, Logansport, and Rebecca Maurer and husband Chris, Greenfield; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Cain and Shaylen Cain; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

     Lewis Junior Weisenberger was born on March 5, 1923 at Highland Park, Wayne County, Michigan. He was the son of Edgar Lewis Weisenberger and Ruby Estella Kerns. Lewis Junior Weisenberger married, at age 20, Winifred Graham, age 19 on Monday, August 16, 1943 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, . Lewis Junior Weisenberger died on September 23, 1943 at Camden, South Carolina, at age 20.

"As America moves for a showdown with the Axis on far-flung battlefronts, the casualty list will inexorably grow. The price of victory is high, but never as high as defeat. Young Americans know that and are valiantly calling Hitler's trumps even though it means death. As the tide moves on, Cadillac sons move with it. The most recent addition to the Gold Star list at Cadillac is Lewis J. Weisenberger, TA-18, who was killed during a regular training flight, September 23rd at Camden, South Carolina. Weisenberger worked at Cadillac for a year and a half before entering the Army Air Force in January of this year. He was a tank driver in TA-18. At Wofford College, Spartanburg, South Carolina, Cadet Weisenberger completed the five months' course in two months and was sent to Maxwell Field Alabama. From Maxwell he went to Camden, South Carolina, where his plane crashed on routine flight. Cadet Weisenberger was home on leave for five days during August. While in Detroit, he married his childhood sweetheart, Miss Winifred Graham. Cadet Weisenberger's wife was living in Camden at the time of his death."

     Donald Stose was born on April 22, 1923. He was the son of John Frederick Stose and Minnie P. Kuehner. Donald Stose died on May 30, 2000 at Prospect, Marion County, Ohio, at age 77.

     Maurine B. Eads was born on September 19, 1924 at Hammond, Lake County, Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Harry G. Eads and Maude Hartleroad. Maurine B. Eads died in November, 1994 at Hammond, Lake County, Indiana, at age 70.²

     Donald Norbert Gramp was born in 1925 at New York.^2,1 He was the son of Gerhardt F. Gramp and Mary Nauer.¹ Donald Norbert Gramp served in the military between 1943 and 1945.³ He married Vera Georgevich in September, 1950 . Donald Norbert Gramp graduated in 1952 from Syracuse University.³ He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.³ Before 1963 Donald Norbert Gramp worked as an accountant at Smith Corona Marchant Inc.³ He died on April 11, 1963 at Syracuse, Ononodaga County, New York.³

     Lois Elizabeth Bruggemeier married George Tarr at Pakistan . Lois Elizabeth Bruggemeier was born on April 24, 1925. She was the daughter of Carl Henry Bruggemeier and Elizabeth LeBuda. Lois Elizabeth Bruggemeier died on December 6, 1991 at Solano, California, at age 66.

     Joseph Tarkington Black was born on May 20, 1925 at Sedgewick, Arkansas. He was the son of Robert Franklin Black and Edith Wilson Sparkman. Joseph Tarkington Black died in October, 1969 at Memphis, Tennessee, at age 44.

     Richard Earl Weisenberger married Margaret Jean Wallace . Richard Earl Weisenberger was born on October 30, 1925 at Highland Park, Wayne County, Michigan. He was the son of Edgar Lewis Weisenberger and Ruby Estella Kerns. Richard Earl Weisenberger died on February 10, 1989 at Farmington, Oakland County, Michigan, at age 63.

     Weldon E. Bucher was born in 1926. He was the son of Elmer Harvey Bucher and Laura E. Daubenspeck. Weldon E. Bucher died in 1953. He was buried after 1953 at Rankin Cemetery - Washington Township, Miami County, Indiana. Died while serving in Korea.

     Mary Jane Hahn was born on May 17, 1926 at North Grove, Miami County, Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Tressie S. Hahn and Mae A. Curry. Thereafter her married name was Haines. Mary Jane Hahn married, at age 20, Harley W. Haines on Tuesday, November 5, 1946 at Galveston, Indiana, . Mary Jane Hahn married (?) Budd before 1971 . Mary Jane Hahn died in July, 1971 at Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, at age 45.¹

     John R. Hartleroad was born on March 5, 1927. He was the son of Abia Fredrick Hartleroad and Mary E. Edwards. John R. Hartleroad died on April 30, 2005 at Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, at age 78.

John R. Hartleroad, 78, Logansport, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at Howard
Regional Hospital, Kokomo.
He was born March 5, 1927 in Miami County to Fred and Mary Elizabeth Edwards Hartleroad. He
married Ellen Morris Hartleroad May 25, 1996, and she survives.
Hartleroad was a retired insurance agent, and a member of Logansport Church of the Brethren.
Survivors besides his wife include three sons, Steve Hartleroad, Columbia City, John Phillip Hartleroad,
Bloomington, and John Richard Hartleroad and wife Judy, Galesburg, Ill; a daughter, Patsy Batosky and
husband William, Glen Burnte, Md; a brother, Robert Hartleroad, Peru; a sister, Opal Mills and husband
Ray, Frankfort; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Hartleroad.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Logansport Church of the Brethren, 2405 Shadowlawn Drive,
Logansport, with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will be in Santa Fe Cemetery, Miami County.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, and from 9 a.m. until time
of service at the church Tuesday.

     Carl Henry Bruggemeier was born on September 19, 1929 at Ohio. He was the son of Carl Henry Bruggemeier and Elizabeth LeBuda. Carl Henry Bruggemeier lived before 1953 at Akron, Ohio. He served in the military before February 3, 1953 in the United States Marine Corps. His rank was 2nd Lt. Res. Service #050189.¹ He died on February 3, 1953 at Korea at age 23 when his fighter was shot down. His remains were never found.

From Akron, Ohio, LT Carl Henry Bruggemeier was the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Bruggemeier.
He attended Norwich with the class of '51.

He entered the service in August '49, and won his pilot wings after graduating from the Naval Air
Training School in Pensacola, Florida.

He was stationed at a Marine air base south of Seoul and flew combat raids for five months. He
died on February 3, 1953, on his last mission before a scheduled rest in Japan. He had also been
due for a change of assignment in 4-6 weeks.

In another sad footnote to his death, his fiance, Joan, received his engagement ring two days after
the casualty telegram.

     Dale Loren Waisner was born on August 24, 1933. He was the son of George Earl Waisner and Vernice Edna Anderson. Dale Loren Waisner married, at age 19, Patricia Bennett in February, 1953 . Dale Loren Waisner died on January 14, 1996 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at age 62.

     Robert Vogler was born in December, 1934. He was the son of Frederick Henry Vogler and Gertrude Grant. Robert Vogler served in the military in 1956 after graduating from West Point. His rank was 1st Lt. He died on May 6, 1959 at MacDill AFB, Florida, at age 24 in a B-47 crash.

Rex W. Hahn, 69, Grass Valley, Calif., passed away Saturday, May 7, 2005.
He was the son of the late Kenneth and Mildred Hahn of Amboy.
A graduate of Clay Township High School, he received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Purdue
University and an M.A. in computer science from San Jose State.
Before retiring in 1991 from Lockheed Aircraft in Sunnyvale, Calif., Hahn designed and tested missiles
for the government's Star Wars Program.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta; four daughters, Sherry DeGregorio, San Jose, Calif., Christine
Antonelli, Auburn, Wash., Kathy Strahlendorf, Pollock Pines, Calif., and Vicky Brodt, Berkley, Calif; a
sister, Nancy Morgan, Columbia, S.C; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

     Everett H. Miller was born on July 6, 1936 at Union City, Ohio. He was the son of Raymond S. Miller and Pauline Naomi Robinson. Everett H. Miller died on December 3, 1993 at Wabash, Mercer County, Ohio, at age 57.

     Frederick Valentine Vogler was buried at Bellevue Cemetery, Ontario, California. He was born on May 18, 1943 at Los Angeles, California. He was the son of Robert Edward Vogler and Adeline Lucille Hawley. Frederick Valentine Vogler married, at age 23, Nenfa Robles Ramirez, age 23 on Saturday, November 5, 1966 . Frederick Valentine Vogler died on April 18, 1999 at Chino, California, at age 55.

     Frederick Charles Gramp was born on August 26, 1954 at Syracuse, New York.² He was the son of Donald Norbert Gramp and Vera Georgevich.¹ After 1977 Frederick Charles Gramp worked as an electrician in construction; Member IBEW. He married, at age 27, Laura Marie Hahn, age 30, daughter of Daryl Eugene Hahn and Eileen Lois Vogler, on Saturday, January 2, 1982 at Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, .³ Frederick Charles Gramp died on September 13, 1995 at Tempe, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 41. He was buried on September 20, 1995 at Double Buttes Cemetery, Tempe, Maricopa County, Arizona.

     Seth Alan Bottom was born on July 20, 1983 at Long Beach, California. He was the son of Charles Bottom and Katherine Anne Hahn. Seth Alan Bottom died in April, 2001 at age 17.
