     Salome Heimlich was born on March 3, 1812 at Hatten, Bas-Rhin, Alsace-Lorraine, France. She was the daughter of Jean George Heimlich and Madelaine Steiner. Salome Heimlich immigrated on May 14, 1840 to New York.¹

     Wesley Heimlich was born about 1874 at Marion County, Ohio. He was the son of George Heimlich and Barbara Augenstein.

     William Heimlich was born about 1865 at Marion County, Ohio. He was the son of George Heimlich and Barbara Augenstein.

     Mary Helmering was born on September 1, 1858. She married Harvey Daubenspeck Rush, son of Greenberry Rush and Elizabeth Daubenspeck, in 1883 at Rush County, Indiana, . Mary Helmering died on July 30, 1934 at Kansas City, Kansas, at age 75.

     Harmon Helms was born in 1867 at Indiana. He married Lillian Ainsley Ramsey, age 21, daughter of James E. Ramsey and Lucinda Adams, on Tuesday, January 17, 1893 at Miami County, Indiana, .

     Christopher Hemp was born in 1800. He died in 1832.

     Martha Lucinda Hemp was born in 1828 at Virginia. She was the daughter of Christopher Hemp. Martha Lucinda Hemp married John W. Joh, son of George Joh and Anna Wade, about 1830 . Martha Lucinda Hemp died in 1906.

     Mariam Henderson was born on March 13, 1867 at Illinois.^2,1,3 She was the daughter of Samuel A. Henderson and Hannah Engle. Mariam Henderson married, at age 37, Benjamin Franklin Hahn, age 47, son of Benjamin Hahn and Anna Elizabeth Cooper, on Wednesday, February 1, 1905 at Lancaster County, Nebraska, .¹ Mariam Henderson died on March 28, 1962 at San Diego, California, at age 95.² She was buried after March 28, 1962 at Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego, California.⁴

     Samuel A. Henderson was born in 1839 at Ohio.¹ He married Hannah Engle before 1859 .¹

     Mary A. Hendricks was born in 1847. She married Jesse P. York, age 26, son of John P. York and Laura Perham, on Wednesday, January 16, 1867 at Miami County, Indiana, . Mary A. Hendricks married Jesse P. York, age 26, son of John P. York and Laura Perham, on Friday, January 18, 1867 .¹ Mary A. Hendricks died in 1922.

     Susannah Hendricks was born on February 9, 1820. She married, at age 19, Miles Monroe York, age 23, son of John York and Hannah Hammer, on Thursday, March 7, 1839 at Henry County, Indiana, .¹ Susannah Hendricks died on September 21, 1906 at Miami County, Indiana, at age 86.

     Samuel Herchelroad was born in 1807 at Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Lawrence Herchelroth and Elizabeth B. Kline. Samuel Herchelroad died after May 13, 1837 at Portage County, Ohio.

     Anna Maria Herchelroth was born on December 26, 1778 at Warwick Township, Brickersville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Catherine Margaretha Quickel.

     Barbara Herchelroth was born on June 6, 1773. She was the daughter of Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Catherine Margaretha Quickel.

     Barbara Herchelroth is the daughter of Johannas Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Maria Elizabeth Corphans.

     Catherine Herchelroth was born in 1810 at Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.² She was the daughter of Lawrence Herchelroth and Elizabeth B. Kline.¹ Catherine Herchelroth married Jacob Heriff on Tuesday, March 6, 1827 . Catherine Herchelroth died after October, 1869 at Rootstown Township, Portage County, Ohio.¹

     Catherine Herchelroth was born about 1732/33. She was the daughter of Johannas Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Maria Elizabeth Corphans. Catherine Herchelroth married John Adam Mosser before 1751/52 .

     Elizabeth Herchelroth was born on December 24, 1768. She was the daughter of Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Catherine Margaretha Quickel.

     Elizabeth Herchelroth was born in 1740/41 at Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Johannas Herchelroth and Maria Catherine Corphans.

     Elizabeth Herchelroth is the daughter of Johannas Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Maria Elizabeth Corphans.

     Eve Herchelroth was born in 1780. She was the daughter of Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Catherine Margaretha Quickel.

     Hans Heinrich Herchelroth was born in 1614/15 at Heucheldeim, Germany. He died in 1669/70 at Germany.

     Hans Nickel Herchelroth was born about 1666/67. He was the son of Hans Heinrich Herchelroth and Anna Catherine Leopoldin.

     Henry Herchelroth was born on January 6, 1777. He was the son of Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Catherine Margaretha Quickel. Henry Herchelroth died on January 18, 1851 at Pennsylvania at age 74.¹

     Johan Heinrich Herchelroth was born about 1699/0 at Germany. He was the son of Johannas Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Maria Elizabeth Corphans. Johan Heinrich Herchelroth died on February 13, 1746/47 at Cocalico, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

     Johanna Herchelroth was born about 1667/68. She was the daughter of Hans Heinrich Herchelroth and Anna Catherine Leopoldin.

     Johannas Herchelroth was born in 1713/14 at Germany. He was the son of Johannas Lorentz Herchelroth and Anna Maria Elizabeth Corphans. Johannas Herchelroth immigrated on August 27, 1733 to America. He married Maria Catherine Corphans in 1734/35 . Johannas Herchelroth died before 1760 at Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.


The Herchelroth Family (pronounced Herkelrode).--John Herchelroth, one of the pioneers of Clay, emigrated from Germany, and took up, under warrant of March 16, 1747, a tract of one hundred and fifteen acres of land, lying on the west side of Middle Creek, and located on the same, where he died, leaving six children,--Lawrence, John, Henry, Christian, Juliana, and Elizabeth. In 1762 his son Lawrence became the owner of the above tract, for which he procured a patent in 1764. He also purchased another tract adjoining, and after his decease his two sons, Henry and Lawrence, became joint owners of the two tracts, and in 1816 made a division of the property. Lawrence settled on the original or south tract, warranted by his father in 1747, and Henry took the north tract, Middle Creek being the dividing line between their tracts. The original tract is now owned by Benjamin Bollinger, who married a Herchelroth, and is a son of Abraham Bollinger, who resided on what is known as the Deardorf property.¹
