     Catharine Ingels was born in 1862 at Fayette County, Indiana. She was the daughter of John Ingels and Mary Jane Rush.

     Amanda Jane Pitts was born in January, 1862 at Indiana. She married Alfred Ramsey, son of Samuel Ramsey and Elizabeth Hahn, in 1882 . Amanda Jane Pitts died on November 3, 1919 at Butler Township, Miami County, Indiana, at age 57.

     Mary Ann Long was born in February, 1862 at Indiana. She married, at age 29, Orla Dale Hahn, age 29, son of Jacob Hahn and Martha Hannah Robinson, on Thursday, December 31, 1891 at Miami County, Indiana, . Mary Ann Long died after 1910.¹

     Henry Bruggemeier was born in March, 1862 at Ohio. He married Louise (?) circa 1898 at Toledo, Ohio, . In 1900 Henry Bruggemeier worked as a railroad engineer at Toledo, Ohio.

     Orla Dale Hahn was born in May, 1862 at Indiana. He was the son of Jacob Hahn and Martha Hannah Robinson. Orla Dale Hahn married, at age 29, Mary Ann Long, age 29 on Thursday, December 31, 1891 at Miami County, Indiana, . Orla Dale Hahn died on June 16, 1925 at age 63.

      Austrila (?) also went by the name of "Tillie" (?). She was born in June, 1862 at Indiana. She married Samuel Zimmerman in 1879 at Indiana . Austrila (?) died in 1946 at Indiana. She was buried after 1946 at Santa Fe Cemetery, Miami County, Indiana.

     Catherine Kuehner was born on August 6, 1862 at Marion County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Joseph C. Kuehner and Magdalena Heimlich. Thereafter her married name was Lehner. Catherine Kuehner married, at age 22, Christian Lehner, age 26 on Thursday, February 12, 1885 at Marion County, Ohio, . Catherine Kuehner died on November 4, 1928 at Marion County, Ohio, at age 66.

     William M. Daniels was born in October, 1862 at Indiana. He married Nettie Hahn, age 20, daughter of Jeremiah Hahn and Mary Ellen Hunter, on Thursday, October 28, 1886 at Miami County, Indiana, .¹ In 1900 William M. Daniels worked as a sewing machine operator at Peru, Miami County, Indiana.² On April 9, 1930 William M. Daniels worked as an Insurance Salesman at Peru, Miami County, Indiana.³

     Adam Grosky was born on November 7, 1862 at Germany. He was the son of John Goralski and Anna Wiltzen. Adam Grosky and Caroline Grosky immigrated in 1881 to USA from Germany.¹ Adam Grosky married Bertha Huffman in 1886 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, .¹ Adam Grosky lived in 1900 at 366 West North Street, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. After 1900 Adam Grosky worked as a Molder (iron) - the company made piano harps.¹ He was members of Zion Lutheran Church. He died on February 22, 1936 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 73 of a heart attack. He was buried on February 25, 1936 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.


ADAM GROSKY DROPS DEAD AT HIS HOME

W. North St. Resident had Been Ill Two Years

Adam Grosky, 73, of 808 W. North st., dropped dead Saturday, about 4 p. m., at. his residence. He had been in ill health for the last two years.
Born in Germany, Mr. Grosky came to this country about 52 years ago and spent two years in Toledo before coming to Springfield. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of this city and of the Martin Luther Society of that church.
Besides his wife, Bertha, he is survived by three sons, George, of Springfield; and Edward and John, of Dayton;
four daughters, Mrs. Anna Keller, Mrs. Louise Basler Mrs. Emma Stout and Bertha Grosky, all of Springfield; and three grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Holl Funeral Home, but will be returned to the residence of the daughter, Mrs, Keller, at 61 W. North St., Sunday evening. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

     Senis Hartleroad was born on December 8, 1862 at Miami County, Indiana. He was the son of David Hartleroad and Laura J. York. Senis Hartleroad married, at age 23, Anna E. Weisenberger, age 20, daughter of George Weisenberger and Elizabeth Hahn, on Monday, November 22, 1886 at Miami County, Indiana, .¹ In 1910 Senis Hartleroad worked as a Street-Car inspector.² He died on February 4, 1952 at age 89.

     Albion S. Ramsey was born on December 28, 1862 at Markle, Huntington County, Indiana.¹ He was the son of Jeremiah L. Ramsey and Anna E. Swimley.¹ Albion S. Ramsey married, at age 30, Lowa Leland, age 17, daughter of John Bostnick Leland and Martha Carline Misner, on Wednesday, November 15, 1893 at Miami County, Indiana, .^1,2


Albion S. Ramsey. One of the fine country homes of Miami county, which for years has given a distinctive character of prosperity and well ordered enterprise to the country life of this section is the Ramsey homestead of Butler township, a place which has been under one name since it was taken up as government land more than seventy years ago, and of which Albion S. Ramsey is the present enterprising proprietor. Mr. Ramsey became successful after an apprenticeship of hard work and thorough experience in farm life, and at the present time is considered one of the most substantial and influential men of his locality.

Albion S. Ramsey was born at Markle, in Huntington county, Indiana, December 28, 1862. His father was Jeremiah Ramsey and his grandfather Samuel Ramsey. The maiden name of his mother was Anna E. Swimley a daughter of Jacob Swimley. The father was a Methodist minister, an old-time circuit rider, who traveled about the country, preaching the gospel and devoting most of his life to that arduous work. The mother of Albion S. Ramsey died when he was eight days old and thereafter he was reared in the home of his grandfather Samuel Ramsey. The grandfather had taken up government land in Miami county, in 1841, and the one hundred and sixty acres in the farm was originally known as canal land, and cost one dollar and twenty-five cents per acre. "When it first came into the proprietorship of the Ramseys, it was covered with timber, and grandfather put up a cabin in the midst of the woods, was the first home in this county, and was later replaced with a more modern building. Grandfather Ramsey lived in the old cabin home for some nine or ten years, and continued to live on the place until his death on March 2, 1882. Through his own labors and management, he has done all the clearing, and was one of the sturdy pioneers whose labors effected so much for the subsequent welfare of not only his own descendants, but for the entire community. Since the death of his grandfather, Albion S. Ramsey continued the management of the old homestead, and has made excellent use of his patrimony, and has continued to improve and make his acres more productive every year.

After his marriage he began housekeeping in the old house where his grandfather had died. He and his wife have established an excellent home, and in the past two years have erected a complete set of new buildings, including an attractive and comfortable residence besides many outbuildings and barns. Mr. Ramsey has also done a great deal of ditching and fencing, and has put most of the land in cultivation. Grandfather Ramsey was a member of the Methodist church, and the grandson also attends that church. At one time he was affiliated with the Knights of Pythias, and in politics was an active supporter of the Republican ticket until 1912, when he voted for the Bull Moose candidate.

On November 15, 1893, Mr. Ramsey married Miss Lowa Leland, a daughter of John D. and Martha (Misner) Leland. Six children have blessed their marriage but Paul died in infancy. The others are: Roy L., who married Hazel Fisher, daughter of John and Mary Fisher; Jerome L., Charles M., Blbert Harald, and Martha E. The children have been liberally provided with educational advantages, and in school and in home have been trained and instructed in the principles and virtues which make worthy manhood and womanhood.

Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey have one of the old parchment deeds, given under the hand.and seal of President Zachary Taylor, which is a valu-" able souvenir in this home, and the second deed of the kind found in Miami county, Indiana. Mrs. Ramsey is a native of Wabash county, born May 23, 1876, the Centennial year, and the oldest of eight children, six sons and two daughters born to John B. and Martha C. (Mis- ner) Leland. All the children are living. Four brothers are residents in Oklahoma, and the remainder of the children are living in Indiana. Mr. Leland was a native of Ohio, but a resident of Indiana from a child. He was a veteran of the Civil war, a member of the Army of the Potomac, and was a soldier three years.

He is living at the present time aged sixty-eight years. He is a Democrat politically, and a member of the G. A. R. Mrs. Leland was a resident of Indiana, and she died in 1899, aged forty-two years. Mrs. Ramsey is a member of the Methodist church at old Saute Fe. Indiana. The homestead of Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey is known as ;' The Maples.¹''

     Jacob Finster was born circa 1863 at West Virginia. He married Lora A. Bohn on Thursday, April 3, 1884 at Miami County, Indiana, . Jacob Finster died after 1910.

     Benjamin Robinson was born circa 1863 at Indiana. He was the son of Joseph W. Robinson and Phoebe Heacox.

     William David Haberman married Anna Catherine Boblenz, daughter of Albert Frederick Boblenz and Sophia Rebecca Kiest, . William David Haberman was buried at Marion Cemetey, Marion County, Ohio. He was born in 1863. He died in 1937 at Marion County, Ohio.

     Cora Thrasher was born in 1863 at Indiana. She was the daughter of William Merritt Thrasher and Denia Thayer.

     Anna Salomea Boblenz was born on February 18, 1863 at Richland Township, Marion County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Adolphus Christoph Boblenz and Magdalena Mochel. Thereafter her married name was Axthelm. Anna Salomea Boblenz married, at age 19, Charles A. Axthelm, age 23, son of Charles Axthelm and Renalto Rhuermand, on Thursday, September 21, 1882 at Richland Township, Cardington, Marion County, Ohio, .

     Henry Hartleroad was born on March 10, 1863 at Peru, Miami County, Indiana. He was the son of Jacob Hartleroad and Hester Ann Ginder. Henry Hartleroad died on June 2, 1955 at Robinson, Illinois, at age 92.

     Solomon Herbert Waisner was born on April 30, 1863 at Washington County., Indiana. He was the son of Solomon Waisner and Mary Sally Elvira Bowman. Solomon Herbert Waisner married, at age 23, Sarah E. Tatlock on Thursday, April 28, 1887 . Solomon Herbert Waisner died before 1945.

     Bertha Huffman was born in May, 1863 at Hamburg, Germany. She immigrated circa 1879 to USA. She married Adam Grosky, son of John Goralski and Anna Wiltzen, in 1886 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, .¹ Thereafter her married name was Grosky.¹ Bertha Huffman was member of Zion Lutheran Church. She died on December 16, 1939 at Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, at age 76. She was buried on December 19, 1939 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio.

     John R. Cox was born on May 2, 1863 at Pulaski County, Indiana. He was the son of John E. Cox and Doratha Jane Phillips. John R. Cox died on May 3, 1931 at age 68. He was buried after May 3, 1931 at Knox, Indiana; Oak Grove Cemetery.

     William Robinson was born in July, 1863 at Indiana. He was the son of John F. C. Robinson and Elizabeth McCann.

     Catherine Weisenberger was born on September 9, 1863. She was the daughter of George Weisenberger and Elizabeth Hahn.

     George Kuehner was born on September 30, 1863 at Richland Township, Marion County, Ohio. He was the son of Joseph C. Kuehner and Magdalena Heimlich. George Kuehner married, at age 29, Amelia Baltz, age 26 on Friday, September 29, 1893 at Gahanna, Franklin County, Ohio, . George Kuehner was graduated before 1920 from Ohio State University at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. Before 1939 George Kuehner worked as the Pastor of the Lutheran Church at Liverpool, Ohio. He died on May 5, 1939 at Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio, at age 75.

     Lora A. Bohn was born circa 1864. She married Jacob Finster on Thursday, April 3, 1884 at Miami County, Indiana, . Thereafter her married name was Finster.

     Ira McCoy was born circa 1864 at Pulaski County, Indiana.¹ He was the son of Fielden McCoy and Evalyn Cox.¹

     Daniel E. Hartleroad was born in 1864. He was the son of John Hartleroad and Nancy Jane Riley.

     James Ginder was born in 1864 at Pulaski County, Indiana. He was the son of Godfrey Ginder and Eliza Hartleroad.

     Curtis Endsley was born in 1864 at Indiana. He was the son of Elihu Endsley and Elizabeth Oliver.

     Jesse Hartleroad was born on February 11, 1864 at Pulaski County, Indiana. He was the son of David Hartleroad and Laura J. York. Jesse Hartleroad married, at age 22, Barbara Weisenberger, age 18, daughter of George Weisenberger and Elizabeth Hahn, on Monday, November 1, 1886 at Miami County, Indiana, . Jesse Hartleroad died on February 4, 1958 at Miami County, Indiana, at age 93. He was buried circa February 6, 1958 at Converse Cemetery, Miami County, Indiana.
