     Never married. Edith L. Augenstein was born on January 1, 1899 at Richland, Marion County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Augenstein and Emma Caroline Kuehner. Edith L. Augenstein worked in 1920 as a bookkeeper at a sewing machine store at Marlboro Township, Delaware County, Ohio. She died on October 7, 1973 at Marion County, Ohio, at age 74.

     Edmond Vance Augenstein was born on April 19, 1924 at Prospect, Marion County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Leroy F. Augenstein and Jennie E, Oswald.¹ Edmond Vance Augenstein died in September, 1980 at age 56.¹

     Charles August Axthelm was born on August 15, 1859 at Richland Township, Marion County, Ohio.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Axthelm and Renata Rhuermand. Charles August Axthelm married, at age 23, Anna Salomea Boblenz, age 19, daughter of Adolphus Christoph Boblenz and Magdalena Mochel, on Thursday, September 21, 1882 at Richland Township, Cardington, Marion County, Ohio, .^3,1 Charles August Axthelm died on January 31, 1935 at Richland Township, Marion County, Ohio, at age 75.²

     Eduard Johann Axthelm was born on May 1, 1888 at Richland Township, Marion County, Ohio. He was the son of Charles August Axthelm and Anna Salomea Boblenz. Eduard Johann Axthelm was baptized on June 10, 1888 at Richland Township, Cardington, Marion County, Ohio.

     Edward Franklin Axthelm was born on July 16, 1932 at Marion County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Albert Friedrich Axthelm and Emma Belle Collmer. Edward Franklin Axthelm died on January 16, 2011 at Delaware, Ohio, at age 78.¹

CARDINGTON: Edward Franklin Axthelm, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2011.

Edward was born to the late Albert and Emma (Collmer) Axthelm in Richland Twp. in Marion County. On December 25, 1953 in Ashley, Ohio he married the former Betty Jo Crump and she preceded him in death.

Edward is survived by his two sons, Jon (Beverly) and Jay Axthelm both of Cardington; three grandchildren, Jonda, Jayson, and Jeffrey Axthelm; a brother, Fred Axthelm of Indianapolis, IN; and a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Axthelm of Waldo.

Edward was an active member in many antique tractor organizations. As well as helped to establish the Morrow County Antique Tractor Association. He dedicated his life to farming, was a farm drainage contractor. As an antique tractor guru he sold tractor parts to other enthusiast throughout the world.

Including his parents; and wife; Edward was preceded in death by a son, Jim Axthelm; a daughter, Rebecca Axthelm; a brother, Roger Axthelm; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Axthelm.

Friends and family may call at Gompf Funeral Service Thursday, January 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will also be held at the funeral home in Cardington, on Friday, January 21 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Glendale Union Cemetery, Cardington, Ohio.

     Owen R. Bakehorn was born in March, 1898 at Miami County, Indiana. He was the son of Edward Bakehorn and Mary Elizabeth Ramsey.

     Alice A. Baldwin was born about 1911 at Indiana. She was the daughter of Arthur Corwin Baldwin and Maud Alice Hahn. Alice A. Baldwin died after 1930.

     Arthur Corwin Baldwin was born on June 16, 1874 at Indiana. He married, at age 52, Maud Alice Hahn, age 46, daughter of Jeremiah Hahn and Mary Ellen Hunter, on Wednesday, August 18, 1926 at Peru, Miami County, Indiana, .¹ Arthur Corwin Baldwin worked in 1930 as a schoolteacher at Peru, Miami County, Indiana.² He died after 1930.

     Martha Ball was born in 1764 at Fairfax County, Virginia. She married Henry Yeary, son of Henry Yeary and Elizabeth Croxstall, in 1786 at Boones Path, Russell County, Virginia, . Martha Ball died in 1836 at Lee County, Virginia.

     Amelia Baltz was born on June 28, 1867 at Gahanna, Franklin County, Ohio. She married, at age 26, George Kuehner, age 29, son of Joseph C. Kuehner and Magdalena Heimlich, on Friday, September 29, 1893 at Gahanna, Franklin County, Ohio, . Amelia Baltz died on April 28, 1935 at Clyde, Sandusky County, Ohio, at age 67.
