     Kenneth Hartleroad was born on July 5, 1907 at Hammond, Lake County, Indiana. He was the son of Andrew J. Hartleroad and Bertha Crim. Kenneth Hartleroad married Mary Ellen McCollum circa 1928 at Indiana . In 1930 Kenneth Hartleroad worked at an oil refinery at Hammond, Lake County, Indiana. He died in November, 1973 at age 66.

Kenneth Hartlerode Husband of Mary Ellen McCollum After his divorced wife's death Kenneth deserted his son, Phillip Hartlerode, signing him over to the boy's widowed grandmother, Daisy May McGlaughlin. He didn't provide any support nor even see the boy again until he was six years of age. When Phillip did receive the first visit from his father the man was drunk and had to be ordered to leave. He saw him again during WWII when Kenneth served as a combat instructor in the Marine Corps. At that time Kenneth visited his son three times and promised to return in a week's time bringing with him the gift of a bicycle. Almost thirty years would pass before Phillip ever saw his father again. When Phil was in his mid-thirties he found and visited with his father for perhaps 30 minutes. A few weeks after that Kenneth Hartlerode passed away due to a tumor on his brain. He was approximately 63 yrs. old at his death.¹

     Mabel E. Robinson was born on November 10, 1907 at Jay County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Oliver Lyman Robinson and Sarah Elizabeth Franks.

     Laura E. Bakehorn was born in 1908 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Bakehorn and Mary E. Ramsey.¹ Laura E. Bakehorn died on June 22, 1926.

     Dorothy Totten was born in January, 1908 at Jay County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Maurice A. Totten and Jeanette Ella Robinson.

     Abel R. Endsley was born on February 12, 1908 at Indiana. He was the son of Arthur C. Endsley and Maggie S. Bowman. Abel R. Endsley lived in 1935 at South Bend, Indiana. He died on August 1, 1969 at Los Angeles, California, at age 61.

     Dorothea Hecker was born on April 3, 1908 at Marion County, Ohio. She married Christian Harold Boblenz, son of Albert Frederick Boblenz Jr. and Ida Mae Wynn, in 1927 at Marion County, Ohio, . Dorothea Hecker died on April 17, 2005 at age 97.

MARION - Dorotha C. Boblenz, 97, 1432 Prospect-Upper Sandusky Road North, died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, April 17, 2005, at her home.

Born April 3, 1908, in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Mariam (Hecker) Criswell.

She married Christian H. "Chris" Boblenz in 1927; he died March 10, 1979, in Marion.

She was a homemaker and worked for some time at the Susquehanna Silk Mill, Hughes Photo Studio and hung wallpaper.

She is survived by a son, Wayne Arthur (Dixie) Boblenz of Marion; two grandchildren, DeeLee (Rick) Murray of Prospect and Brenda (Todd) Buckland of Marion; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Martha Johnson, Mary Runyon, Roma Detwiler, Wilda Weaver, all of Marion. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Hecker and a sister, Twila Hecker.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Boyd Funeral Home with Russell Howard, minister, officiating. Burial is in Meeker Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

In 1930 John Douglas Charters worked as a stock clerk in a furniture store in L.A. He appeared on the census of 1930 at Los Angeles, California. He died on May 29, 1985 at Fresno, California, at age 76.

     Edna B. Robinson was born on November 6, 1908 at Jay County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Isaac H. Robinson and Rebecca Landis.

     Ralph Frederick Augenstein married Mary Louise Klingel . Ralph Frederick Augenstein was born on December 13, 1908 at Richland, Marion County, Ohio. He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Augenstein and Emma Caroline Kuehner. Ralph Frederick Augenstein died on January 8, 1991 at Waldo, Marion County, Ohio, at age 82.

     Herbert E. Rohman was born in 1909 at White Post Township, Pulaski County, Indiana. He was the son of Theodore John Rohman and Viola Endsley. Herbert E. Rohman died on February 5, 1934 at Chicago, Illinois.

     Pauline Larrison married Ralph Eugene Childers, son of John Childers Jr. and Kate Endsley, . Pauline Larrison was born in 1909. She died in 1993 at Miami County, Indiana.

     Orville G. Ramsey was born in 1909 at Indiana.¹ He was the son of William Groves Ramsey and Ethel Leland.¹

     Helen Marie Zoller was born on March 22, 1909 at Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Louis Anthony Zoller and Ida Massa. Thereafter her married name was Shreffler. Helen Marie Zoller married, at age 24, Dr. Burdette E. Shreffler on Thursday, August 17, 1933 at Mansfield, Ohio, . Helen Marie Zoller died on February 1, 1937 at Mansfield, Ohio, at age 27 of pneumonia. She was buried after February 1, 1937 at Mansfield Mausoleum, Mansfield, Ohio.
