Serving the Lindguist family is the Bisch & Son Funeral Home, 505 E Allen, Springfield, IL, where friends and family may call on Monday 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m., with Rev. Thomas B. Christell Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Those who wish, may direct memorial contributions to the Grace Lutheran Church.
She was born in Shelbyville, IL, July 2, 1910, the daughter of Henry J. and Josephine Owens Mochel. She married Everett Lindquist June 17, 1928, in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death May 19, 1975.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Carol (Charles) Shipman of Springfield, Donna (Dr. Laurence) Connelley, of Little Rock Arkansas, 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her son, James in 1999 and 2 brothers.
Mrs. Lindquist retired from the Internal Revenue Service Department of the Treasury. She was a life long member of the Grace Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Springfield Art association, the Order of the Eastern Star, Ansaretts, Springfield Garden Club, Springfield Rose Society, Bonsai Association, Sangamon County Women's Home Extension, Kings Daughters, and various Bridge and Pinochle groups.1

Y; one daughter, Mrs. Everett Lindquist, of Springfield; three brothers, Chris, of Long Beach, Calif., Albert, of Shelbyville, and George, of East St. Louis; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Member of Grace Lutheran Church, Modern Woodman of Amerca and United Steel Workers of America, local 1522. Remains are resting in parlor A at Bisch Memorial home where friends may call from 3 to 9 p. m. Thursday and from 10 a. m. to time of services Friday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Friday in the east chapel, Rev. G. A. Saathoff officiating. Burial in Glenwood cemetery, Shelbyville.
